PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

Quilt Center

1. Arrange and sew the blocks in 3 rows of 8 blocks each. Press.

2. Sew the rows together to form the quilt center. Press.

Pieced Border

1. Referring to the diagram (page 21), sew together 8 pink rectangles 1½″ × 4½″ and 8 brown rectangles 1½″ × 4½″ for each of the 2 side borders. Press.

2. Sew the 2 side borders to the quilt top. Press toward the borders.

3. Sew together 2 pink rectangles 1½″ × 4½″, 1 brown rectangle 1½″ × 4½″, and 2 brown 1½″ × 1½″ squares for 1 end border. Press.
